Corinne Gautron of Winnipeg, Manitoba has signed a letter
of intent with Minot State University and will be joining the
ball club and university next fall. In 2008 Corinne
and her Smitty's team won the Gold Medal at the Midget Western
Canadian Championships and participated in the American Fastpitch
Association Nationals in Minneapolis. She also won the Silver
Medal at the Senior Canadian National Championships. She has previously
been a league all star, a provincial champion and participated
in three Canadian National Championships. In 2006, Corinne was
the starting catcher for the Manitoba provincial team which captured
the Silver Medal at the Western Canada Summer Games.
