Minot State Head Softball Coach Bill Triplett has announced that Leah Mathewson, a lefthanded hitting 1st baseman/outfileder, has signed a letter of intent to play softball next year for Minot State. Mathewson is a senior at Dr. Martin Leboldus High School in Regina, Saskatchewan.

"I'm very happy that Leah has chosen Minot State University and our softball program", stated Triplett. She has great speed, hits from the left side and has a little pop in her bat. She will be a welcomed addition to our team."
