Department of Nursing Strategic Plan

The Department of Nursing faculty held a Strategic Planning Session on August 17, 2007. Below are the long range and priority goals which were developed.

1. Two Long Range Goals
• The Department of Nursing will be a National League of Nursing Center of Excellence
• The Department of Nursing will evolve into a College of Nursing
2. Priority Goals Identified
• Align program goals with MSU's Vision 2013.
• Strengthen formal collaborations with clinical sites.
• Strengthen the RN to BSN program
3. Additional Goals
• Additional goals were identified with action steps and assignments determined.
