I grew up in a small town in Minnesota. I made the move to North Dakota in the summer of 2015. I completed my PN certificate in 2009 and my ADN in 2011, both at Alexandria Technical and Community College in Alexandria, MN. I pursued a Master of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of Mary in Bismarck, ND and graduated in April 2019. My experience in nursing includes acute care on the medical surgical floor, multi-specialty clinic setting and nursing administration. I co-teach Semester 1 nursing students in Nursing Foundations (N255) in addition to Nutrition (HMS240). Throughout my nursing career, I have found that for me, teaching is more than a profession, it has become my passion. It is an honor to work within the Department of Nursing at Minot State University and have the opportunity to serve as a foundation for our students and their professional advancement in the nursing field.
