I am currently adjunct faculty teaching online. I have been teaching for the Nursing Department at Minot State University since 1990. I previously taught nursing at Trinity School of Nursing. I retired in May 2018 from full-time teaching as an assistant professor in the Department of Nursing. In addition to teaching Lifespan Growth and Development, I taught Maternal Newborn Nursing, Women's Health and Health Assessment and was the Director of Simulation and the Learning Resource Center. I am currently a licensed Registered Nurse. My current clinical practice is in Newborn Intensive Care. I have earned a diploma in nursing from Trinity School of Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science from the University of Minnesota with major in childbearing, childrearing and family nursing. I enjoy caring for newborns and their families, spending time with family and friends, being a grandmother, reading, and traveling.
