Minot State University goes to the mall again
The Minot area community will again be able to attend "MSU at Dakota Square Mall" on April 4, from noon to 3 p.m., in the Sears Court. As a Saturday event, it provides a great opportunity for Minot State University to feature its students, academic programs, athletic programs and other university entities.
"The university is excited to bring this event back to the mall for its third year," said Teresa Loftesnes, director of marketing. "‘MSU at Dakota Square Mall’ allows the community to visit one on one with campus affiliates and get a feel for what is currently happening at the university."
Featured events and activities include MSU Idol, a variation of "American Idol," which is back for its second year, and an "Amazing Race," conducted by the Office of International Programs, which will take participants to all of the booths. Visitors can play games, win prizes and register to win the MSU door prize. The 2009 Research Poster Session will also be on display in the court.
