Beaver Dam Day at Minot State fun for the whole family
No plans for Canadian Thanksgiving Day weekend? Consider taking the whole family to Minot State University in North Dakota for Beaver Dam Day on Oct. 13!
Previously known as Canadian Student Preview Day, Beaver Dam Day is for high school seniors or juniors and their families. The day of fun at the Beaver Dam (the student activities center), food on campus and customized tours of Minot State starts in the McFarland Gallery in Old Main and runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"We’re giving everyone, especially our Canadian friends and their families, the opportunity to visit our campus and experience a day that best represents the high-quality education provided by Minot State University," said Kevin Harmon, dean of admissions.
Similar to Minot State University’s annual Fall Open House, enrollment services is hosting this unique event on Canadian Thanksgiving, one of the busiest Canadian visiting periods to Minot. Beaver Dam Day is a great chance to visit with departments of your intended major, receive information about Minot State and participate in extracurricular activities.
For more information on the event, call Lynda Opp, admissions coordinator, at 1-800-777-0750, ext. 3350 or email askmsu@minotstateu.edu.
