KMSU Auction celebrates 10 year anniversary
The countdown will come to an end on Dec. 2, when Minot State University’s broadcasting
department hosts its 10th annual KMSU auction. The auction starts at 6:30 p.m., airing on Minot’s local
access channel, Channel 19, with a preshow starting at 5 p.m.
The auction benefits the broadcasting department in funding for Media Ink, departmental
equipment, and MSU Broadcasting Scholarships. Also, 10 percent of the proceeds will go to an ill MSU
student to help defray medical expenses.
Last year, the KMSU auction raised over $9,000 with the help of more than 150 businesses.
Participating in the KMSU auction is a valuable and unique way to market any business. The auction not
only benefits the broadcasting department, but it promotes individuals and businesses that donate.
Businesses will get full acknowledgment for any donations. Their names will be on KMSU posters all
around the community. They will get name recognition during the auction, and a chance to be a guest on
the preshow.
Individuals or businesses can get involved with the KMSU auction by donating or even bidding
for the great products during the night of the auction. Please visit www.kmsuauction.com for more
details, and for additional questions, contact Nicki Head, KMSU auction promotions chair, at
nicole.head@my.minotstateu.edu or 720-3096.
