The Department of Business Information Technology in the College of Business invites applications for an adjunct faculty to commence August 2009.

Responsibilities: Online teaching in the areas of information systems project management and/or business communication at the graduate level, with some undergraduate teaching possible.

Required: Earned doctorate in Information Systems or related field from an accredited institution. Applicants with ABD in the final stages of dissertation completion will be considered. Evidence of successful online teaching experience. The candidate must have strong evidence of teaching effectiveness at the university level and effective oral and written communication skills.

Desired: Demonstrated evidence of being a team player and professional engagement.

The College of Business is a growing unit with twenty-seven faculty members and approximately 750 undergraduate students, majoring in management, marketing, international business, management information systems, accounting, finance, virtual business, and business education and 70 graduate students in the Master of Science in Management (MSM) and Master of Science in Information Systems (MSIS) programs. The undergraduate management degree is currently offered on campus, online, and in Bismarck, North Dakota. The College of Business is initially accredited by the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE). Minot State University is a regional, comprehensive institution of 3,600 students.
