Transfer Students
Students transferring to Minot State University must:
In addition, students transferring between semesters should:
- Make certain that MSU is listed on their FAFSA Student Aid Report (SAR). If it is not, students should make a correction to their SAR to add our school code (002994).
- Contact the ND State Grant Agency if you received a ND State Grant to see whether or not the grant will transfer. Please contact the ND State Grant Agency at (701) 328-4114 or peggy.wipf@ndus.nodak.edu.
- Provide financial documents (tax returns) to MSU if you were required to provide them at your previous school.
- Notify the Financial Aid Office at the school you are currently attending that you will be transferring and cancel the aid awarded to you at that school
