 New Students New student veterans/dependents who have not previously used their GI Bill benefits must complete an Application for Benefits and provide supporting documentation, which usually includes a copy of their Notice of Basic Eligibility or DD-214 to the VA certifying official. If an application for benefits has already been processed by VA, the student must provide a copy of their Letter of Eligibility to the VA certifying official. In addition, all students must complete a VA Worksheet to request certification for each term of enrollment. This form must be returned to the VA certifying official after the student has registered for that term. Active duty servicepersons must complete an application for benefits, which will include the signature of their Education Services Officer. | |||||||||||||
