New procedures for access to Minot AFB
Effective December 7, 2007
The deadline for civilians to register for summer semester courses at Minot Air Force Base is Friday, May 4, 2007; registration for fall semester terminates Friday, July 27, 2007. After these dates, civilians must register for classes on the base through the MSU office at Minot AFB by calling 727-9044.
Civilian students registering for classes on Minot Air Force Base are subject to a background check, required and completed by the military before enrollment is official. Upon completion of the background check, you may go to the Minot Air Force Base Visitor's Center between the hours of 7:30 am and 3:30 pm, Tuesday -Friday, May 29-June 1, 2007, and a pass will be issued to you for the summer semester. You MUST have with you at all times:
- drivers license
- proof of vehicle registration
- proof of auto insurance
Please allow yourself extra time to pass through security. The Francis X. Deignan Building (Education Center) is the large brick building one block past the first stop light on the left side of the road.
