Prior to joining Minot State University in 2021, I was a school-based speech language pathologist for 7 years. During my time in the schools, I worked with children who had speech sound, language, fluency, cognitive communication, and social communication disorders. I also have experience working with children who have developmental disabilities, children on the autism spectrum, and with individuals who use alternative and augmentative communication. My areas of interest include speech sound disorders, language disorders, language and literacy, and augmentative and alternative communication. I currently hold the secretary position on the North Dakota Speech Language Hearing Association.
