Academic Program Review

The Academic Program Review Process explains the policy and procedure for completing a program review of an academic program not accredited by an external agency.

The Program Review Dashboard is an interactive report that includes dates of the next and last program review or accreditation visits by program.

Basic and comprehensive program evaluation templates are provided to support programs in the preparation of their self studies.

  • The Basic Program Review Template (draft) provides a simple evaluation outline for a program to reflect on its relevance, design, implementation, impact, resources, strengths, weaknesses, goals, and next steps. Each section includes a brief writing prompt for a program to consider in its self-study. 
  • The Detailed Program Review Template (draft) provides a comprehensive evaluation outline for a program to reflect on its relevance, design, implementation, impact, resources, strengths, weaknesses, goals, and next steps. Each section includes multiple subsections, writing prompts, and examples of indicators that a program may consider including in its self-study.
